Lucky Bear Goes to the Doctor

Lucky Bear was accidentally left in mom's car when it went to the shop.
He gave us a call when the car was ready.

Sean has been telling grandma all month that Lucky Bear was
feeling bad and was sick, so she took him to the doctor.

The doctor gave him a full check-up. Boy that stethoscope is cold!
The doctor said everything is good and all his bacteria and germs are gone! Lucky Bear did so well, he got a lollipop. Grandma picked him up and took him to her house for the weekend.

Lucky Bear is going to rest all weekend and watch some Dinosaur Train.

Peeps!

Last weekend the Pasta's had our third annual Peep diorama contest.

I did a Peep farm.
Joe did a "peep" show showcasing the Chronicle social reporter.
Of course they were made with vegan marshmallows.

Dave did his yearly artistic Peep creation. He scares me sometimes.
Sean created a building that was going through a fire drill.
 Grandma's Peep flower garden.
Dziadziu's final four creation. Recognize Baylor's neon costumes?
And the winner...Barbara's creation of a water park!
 Water volleyball
 Tubers

Early Easter

We celebrated Easter last weekend at the Houston Pasta's.

We hid the eggs in the backyard and found almost all of them.
Dziadziu found one while mowing this week!

Sean cracked some cascarones or confetti eggs on grandma.
The rements made for a colorful yard.
How many grownups does is take to watch Sean hunt for eggs?
 Spring!

Run!!!!

Last weekend Barbara and Sean ran in the Rockets run downtown. Barb ran with Sean in the kids 1K, then did the 5k. It is a cool race where the finish line is on the Rockets court inside.

Sean's 1/2 way to being a basketball star!

Just a Swingin'

It must be a holiday. Three posts in one day, two of which happened today!

Holiday in the Park

Why you should love living in Houston...74 degrees in January.
Perfect for a day at the park, complete with a picnic!
