Gingerbread Men

Sean helped (sort of) make gingerbread cookies. He was more interested in helping put gumdrops on the gumdrop tree. (A Pasta tradition.)

Happy Birthday Alton!

Alton celebrated his 2nd birthday on New Years Eve. As an extra bonus, the Cratins made a visit to Houston in the middle of their big move from Chicago to Salt Lake City.

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer

If you want to test your patience, try and get a two year old to sing on camera! Believe me, Sean can sing a couple Christmas songs, in whole, while standing still in front of you. (Just not when the camera is on!)

Merry Christmas!! (Part I and II)

Merry Christmas! We celebrated twice. The Friendswood Pasta's joined us on Dec. 28. Sean was a lot of fun this year. He really got into opening presents. He also helped out handing out presents and was willing to give you help opening your presents. Sean's favorite saying, "Is there another one for me?"

Mmmmm...Peeps!
In case you were worried that Sean's present opening wasn't going to be well documented!

Snow part II

Unfortunately it went up to 36 degrees and stayed there all day. While it snowed all day, it did not stick. Dziadziu was good to me and Sean, and made us cookies and brought down the Christmas stuff. I've never put up decorations while it was snowing before. Very cool! We also made paper snowflakes, played with snow (inside) several times, and threw snowballs at grandma and Dziadziu. A pretty good snow day from work. I was glad to spend it with Sean.

Below is more sled photos. I found out if was Great Great Aunt Izia's sled also. So three generations have now used it.Sean posed by four of the six trees we have.

Houston Snow!!

Sean rides Dziadziu's sled in the backyard. But, he had more fun playing with the snow inside. We just finished having popcorn and hot chocolate and are waiting for more snow!!
